JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the team's annual 5K on Saturday, August 23 at 8 a.m. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Jaguars Foundation.
Due to the Stadium of the Future construction, the event has been renamed to the Jaguars 5K Sports Complex Challenge, presented by Fresh From Florida and will have an altered race route. The race will start on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard between the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and VyStar Ballpark, continue across the Hart Bridge and will finish on the ballpark's warning track. It marks the first time in Jaguars 5K history that participants will have the opportunity to run across the Hart Bridge.
A one-mile fun run to be kicked off by Jaguars' mascot Jaxson de Ville will follow the 5K at 9:30 a.m. All fans who sign up for the race with receive a special offer to purchase up to six tickets to a select Jaguars game for just $25. Participants will also receive a custom Dri-FIT race shirt.
Winners of the 5K will receive custom awards in a ceremony at 9:15 a.m. to conclude the race. Following the ceremony, a post-race celebration will take place on A. Philip Randolph Boulevard featuring food options, various vendors, live DJs and fun activities for the whole family.
