Jaguars announce playoffs plan; season-ticket holders get first shot

The Jaguars have announced that the team could host a postseason game in January based on the outcome of the remaining regular season games. The team may have an opportunity to host either a Wild Card or Divisional playoff game, as well as the AFC Championship game.  Exact dates and times are yet to be determined, but the NFL postseason schedule is as follows:

  • Wild-Card Weekend – January 8-9, 2011
  • Divisional Playoffs – January 15-16, 2011
  • AFC Championship game – January 23, 2011
  • Super Bowl XLV, North Texas – February 6, 2011

Season ticket owners will have the first opportunity to purchase their season ticket locations and parking by submitting their payment information on-line at www.jaguars.com/myaccount now through Thursday, December 23 at 6:00 pm.  Payments will not be processed until the NFL officially announces that the Jaguars will be hosting a postseason game.  Season ticket owners are being offered a special playoff ticket price before tickets go on-sale to the general public.

Due to the quick turnaround time and the nature of the playoffs, invoices and tickets will not be mailed.  All playoff communications will be handled via e-mail, and further details about how to submit payment information and print tickets can be found on-line at www.jaguars.com/myaccount.

Season ticket owners who opt-in to purchase their current seat location before the payment deadline will have a brief pre-sale period to purchase additional playoff game tickets at a special season ticket owner rate before they go on-sale to the general public.

Any remaining playoff tickets will go on sale to the general public shortly following the season ticket owner deadline and brief pre-sale period, once it is confirmed a playoff game will be hosted in Jacksonville.  To purchase tickets, fans may visit www.jaguars.com or call (904) 633-2000 and press option 4.
