JAGUARS BACK TO TWO-A -DAYS IN LAST FULL WEEK OF TRAINING CAMP

With one preseason game behind them, the Jaguars went through two practices today on Ferrell Fields in their final full week of training camp.

Prior to the morning practice, the team watched video tape of their preseason opening victory over the Carolina Panthers. "It was our first time looking at film and talking about some of the things that need correction, like special team work," said head coach Tom Coughlin. "So we came out a little later but we still got in our normal morning practice."

Coughlin commented on the team's injury status coming out of the game, in which nobody was seriously injured. Injured were: LB Brant Boyer (groin), DT Kelvin Pritchett (ankle), DE Jeff Lageman (biceps) and DE Johnie Church (hamstring). One of the two players who missed the game due to injuries, rookie LB James Hamilton, is "coming along," said Coughlin. CB Dave Thomas is still resting two strained hamstrings.

The team will practice at 8:40 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. After a walk-through on Friday morning, they will depart for New Jersey on Friday afternoon. Kickoff for their second preseason game against the Giants is 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Giants Stadium.

The Jaguars will complete training camp on Wednesday of next week, which will be their final day of the two-a-day practices.
