Jaguars DT Tony McDaniel Signs Contract Extension

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Tony McDaniel has agreed to a contract extension, the club announced today.

McDaniel, 6-7, 310 pounds, is entering his third year after being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2006. McDaniel has played in 15 games over the last two seasons for a total of 25 tackles and one sack. He missed the final 12 games of the 2007 season after suffering a wrist injury.

The Jaguars resume their OTA practices Thursday at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium at 10:30am.
