The Jacksonville Jaguars conducted a mock game today inside Jacksonville Municipal Stadium after 11,039 fans watched the Jaguars' live scrimmage on Friday night. This morning's practice concluded the first week of two-a-day practices.
"This first week, I think anybody who was out there every day saw that the team was put through a lot of very physical practices," said head coach Jack Del Rio. "The guys came in great shape, worked hard all week. They did everything that I asked, did everything that the staff asked in terms of what we demanded of them. So all in all, a real solid week. We'll give them a little blow over the weekend and then we'll be back at work on Monday wanting to continue to fine-tune. Still a lot of work to be done, still very early in the process."
The team will have Sunday off before resuming training camp on Monday with practice at 11:00 a.m. (special teams) and 7:00 p.m. (shells). Practice sessions are open to the public through next Thursday.
