Jaguars fans encouraged to 'click for cans'

Jaguars fans can log onto jaguars.com and be linked to www.chunky.com/tacklinghunger.asp to help the Jaguars and Campbell's Chunky Soup tackle hunger by way of the Click for Cans program. October is Tackling Hunger Month, and throughout the month, fans can also log on to www.chunky.com and click on the Jaguars helmet. For each click, Campbell's will donate one can of Chunky soup to a national food bank on the Jaguars' behalf.

The Click for Cans goal is to donate five million cans of soup to food banks across America. The program is part of the Campbell's Chunky/ NFL Tackling Hunger program, which has donated more than 26 million cans of soup since its inception in 1997. During training camp, DT Marcus Stroud and rookie OT Mike Pearson helped donate over 6,600 cans of soup to Jacksonville's LSS Second Harvest Food Bank as part of the NFL Tackling Hunger program. The players weighed in on a giant soupspoon scale and had ten times their combined weight donated in cans of Chunky Soup.
