Jaguars Food Drive Concludes With Record Numbers

The Jaguars seventh Annual Holiday Food Drive concluded with record numbers following the team's game-day stadium collection last Sunday when the Jaguars hosted the Cincinnati Bengals. Including donations from area Publix Super Markets that were a part of the drive, cash donations ($3,300) and cans of Chunky Soup donated by Campbell's Soup Company, more than 35 tons of non-perishable food items - enough for approximately 47,000 meals - was collected.

All donations will be centrally distributed by the LSS Second Harvest Food Bank to more than 350 non-profit agencies in northeast Florida.

JAGUARS WIVES TO SORT FOOD TOMORROW AT FOOD BANK

Judy Coughlin, along with the wives of other players and coaches that make up the team's volunteer wives group called JagNet, will sort food from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday at the LSS Second Harvest Food Bank, located at 1502 Jessie Street, located approximately five minutes from ALLTEL Stadium.

Volunteers will begin sorting and packaging food donated during the team's Food Drive. Media are invited for a photo opportunity during this time.
