Roster Moves: Jaguars Sign Two, Waive Two Ahead of 2025 Preseason Finale

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have made the following roster moves, the team announced today:

Signed

  • RB Kevin Harris

Waived

  • WR Darius Lassiter
  • DL Eli Mostaert

Carvin signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. He has since spent time on the practice squad with the Chiefs (2024), Bears (2024), Patriots (2024) and finished the 2024 season on the Jaguars' practice squad.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., Carvin played 60 games (43 starts) over five seasons at the University of Tennessee (2018-22), allowing only 2.0 sacks over the last 26 games of his career. Of his 43 starts, 21 came at left guard, 17 at right guard and five at center.

Harris was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round (183rd overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played in nine games (one start) for the Patriots from 2022-23, rushing 34 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns and catching three passes for 58 yards. In four games in 2023, Harris totaled 16 rushes for 65 yards and an 18-yard touchdown along with three receptions for 58 yards, including a career-long 48-yard reception. He spent the 2024 season on New England's practice squad.

The Hinesville, Ga., native appeared in 28 games (16 starts) at the University of South Carolina (2019-21) and finished his career 18th in program history in rushing yards (1,976) and tied-seventh in rushing touchdowns (23). He was named an All-SEC running back in 2020 after leading the league in rushing (1,138 yards).
