JAGUARS HOST GIANTS, 49ERS DURING 1996 PRESEASON

The Jacksonville Jaguars will play four preseason games in August prior to the start of the 1996 regular season. The Jaguars will host the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers and they will travel to St. Louis and Denver. The preseason schedule is:

(all times are Jacksonville time)

Friday, August 2 vs. New York Giants Jacksonville Municipal Stadium 8:00 p.m.

Friday, August 9 at St. Louis Rams Trans World Dome 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, August 18 vs. San Francisco 49ers Jacksonville Municipal Stadium 8:00 p.m.

Friday, August 23 at Denver Broncos Mile High Stadium 8:00 p.m.

In 1995, the Jaguars ranked seventh in the NFL in home attendance. The Jaguars' regular-season home paid attendance was 573,941, an average of 71,743 per game. The Jaguars were one of 12 teams with attendance of more than half a million fans attending their home games.
