The Jacksonville Jaguars announced today the introduction of the new Jaguars Rewards program, which is designed to help reward loyal season ticket holders with discounts at Northeast Florida merchant locations. The program's intent is also to increase sales for participating merchants by providing a link to their business web site through jaguars.com.

The Jaguars Rewards program will provide a business network of season ticket holders and create a Merchant Directory of participants throughout the Jacksonville area. Plus, it will allow Jaguars fans the ability to support businesses that support the Jaguars.

"Jacksonville consists mostly of small-to-medium sized locally owned businesses," said Jaguars Executive Director of Ticket Sales and Marketing Scott Loft. "We invite these and all area businesses to participate in this program and partner with the Jaguars to try and drive Jaguars season ticket holders to their place of business."

To participate as a merchant, businesses must own four or more general bowl season tickets or two or more premium season tickets to qualify as a Jaguars Rewards merchant. This is an opportunity for area businesses to join companies like Gate Petroleum, Hampton Golf, Coggin Automotive, Shoe Carnival and Football Fanatics by providing added-value discounts to Jaguars season ticket holders.

"It has been proven throughout the Jaguars twelve seasons in the NFL that our fans support businesses that support the Jaguars," said Loft. "We feel strongly that by creating this amenity, for our season ticket holders and local businesses, that our fans will receive discounts at hundreds of Northeast Florida retail businesses and also help local businesses create a positive return on their season ticket investment."

Businesses that participate will be displayed in a listing on jaguars.com and will be segmented by type of business. Business listings will include:
