JAGUARS ISSUE CAUTION FOR SOLD OUT MONDAY NIGHT GAME

The Jaguars' first 1998 appearance on "Monday Night Football" against the Miami Dolphins is sold out, and fans are being cautioned against the possibility of buying stolen or counterfeit tickets from scalpers.

"Because the Miami game is sold out and no seats will be available, people buying stolen or counterfeit tickets will have to be ejected from the stadium," said Jaguars vice president/chief financial officer Bill Prescott. "Season ticket holders pay only face value, which is why we always urge our fans to purchase season tickets, which guarantees tickets to the best games of the season - and the playoffs."

The Jaguars also announced the following:

  • The Cool Cats Corner for youngsters, located at Section 244, will be closed for the game due to the late kickoff time.
  • Alcohol sales will be cut off after the end of halftime.
  • Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., but persons with tickets in the Touchdown Clubs and suites can enter the stadium at 6:00. The Adams Street Experience at the southeast side of ALLTEL Stadium will open at 5:00.
