JAGUARS MAKE CHANGE TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed guard Barry Stokes to their practice squad, and terminated the practice squad contract of linebacker Cedric Thornton. Stokes, 6-4, 285, spent training camp and the preseason with the Detroit Lions this year after signing as an undrafted rookie out of Eastern Michigan. The 22-year-old Stokes started 35 of his team's 44 games in college.

Thornton, 23, signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie from Alabama State last April. Thornton spent training camp and the preseason with the Jaguars until being waived on August 19. He signed to the Jaguars practice squad on August 26 and had been on the practice squad the last eight weeks.
