Jaguars Make Roster Moves

The Jaguars made two roster moves today as the team placed rookie fullback Anthony Cotrone on the waived/injured list and re-signed second-year tight end Isaac Smolko. Cotrone, an undrafted rookie from Maine, suffered a knee injury in the scrimmage on Friday night.

Smolko, 25, began the 2007 season on the Jaguars practice squad before earning a roster spot on Nov. 3. The 6-5, 260-pounder played in six games and saw extensive action on special teams. He started in one of the Jaguars two postseason games. The former Penn State tight end spent 2006 training camp with Pittsburgh Steelers after signing as an undrafted free agent. He will wear jersey No. 47.
