Jaguars Make Roster Moves

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed linebacker Bryan Smith on injured reserve today and activated rookie defensive end Jeremy Navarre from the practice squad. In addition, first-year guard Cameron Stephenson was waived from the practice squad.

Smith started two of six games for the Jaguars this season before suffering a shoulder injury in yesterday's 18-15 win against Buffalo.

Navarre has spent eight weeks on the club's practice squad and was on the active roster for two games but was inactive against Arizona and at Houston in weeks two and three. He was signed as a rookie free agent in April after starting 48 of 50 games at Maryland. Navarre finished his college career with 25.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.

Stephenson spent the first 11 weeks of the season on the club's practice squad.
