Jaguars make several roster moves

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed fifth-year guard/center Steve Vallos and waived running back Keith Toston, the club announced today.  Rookie linebacker Brandon Marshall was signed to the practice squad.

Vallos, 6-3, 310, signed with the Jaguars on October 30 and was released last Saturday.  He has played in 42 games with eight starts.  He was originally a seventh-round draft pick of Seattle in 2007 where he spent three seasons before two seasons with Cleveland (2010-11).  He signed as a free agent with Philadelphia on Aug. 31, 2012 and played in two games for the club before he was released on Oct. 23.

Marshall spent the first seven weeks of this season on the club's roster before he was waived on October 27.  He saw action in four games and recorded two special teams tackles. He was the 142nd overall pick in this year's draft after starting four seasons at Nevada. Vallos will wear jersey number 66 and Marshall will wear jersey number 53.
