Jaguars make three moves

The Jaguars made three roster moves today, waiving defensive tackle Montavious Stanley and signing defensive end James Wyche from the practice squad. The Jaguars also re-signed running back Rich Alexis to the practice squad.

Wyche, 24, was the Jaguars' first of two seventh round picks and had spent the first 10 weeks on the practice squad. The 6-5, 271-pound defensive end was a four-year starter at Syracuse and ranked second on the team with 4.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss as a senior. He was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player at the 2006 East-West Shrine Game.

Stanley, 25, played in three games for the Jaguars after being signed on Sept. 12 off the St. Louis Rams practice squad. The 6-2, 320-pound rookie defensive tackle recorded four tackles (three solo), one half sack and one forced fumble.
