Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brian Jones, who was an exclusive rights player, signed his tender offer today. The third-year veteran has spent the past two seasons in Jacksonville after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2004 out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Jones, 24, played in 13 games starting one last season for the Jaguars. The 6-3, 252-pounder caught two passes for 49 yards and finished tied for third on the team with 10 special teams tackles. The Bastrop, La. native has played in 29 career games with eight receptions for 136 yards and one touchdown.
