The Jacksonville Jaguars today released tight end Greg DeLong, leaving their roster at 52 players. DeLong had been signed on September 5 following four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and one with the Baltimore Ravens. He played in four games for the Jaguars, starting the September 25 game at Indianapolis in a two-tight end set. He did not have any receptions, but he did recover a blocked punt in last Sunday's game against Pittsburgh that set up a field goal for a 3-0 lead.
