Jaguars resign McClain

The Jacksonville Jaguars today resigned linebacker Jimmy McClain who had been waived by the Jaguars on September 3 after the preseason.

McClain, a third-year veteran who was originally signed by the Jaguars on January 26, spent the 2004 offseason in NFL Europe with the Scottish Claymores. He tallied 55 tackles and two sacks with the Claymores in NFL Europe. The 6-0, 235-pound linebacker has played in 24 career games with the Houston Texans recording 14 special teams tackles.
