Due to Hurricane Floyd, the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier today

canceled all stadium activities for Wednesday. Players were called

this morning, and again at two times later in the day, and instructed

to take care of their family concerns in preparation for the arrival of

Floyd.

"At this time, our plan is to resume our normal work schedule on

Thursday morning," said head coach Tom Coughlin. "Our first

concern is clearly the safety and well-being of the families.

Hopefully we will be able to return to work Thursday morning with

the entire team, and we will all then be able to respond as needed to

the results of this storm. Once the storm damage is assessed, we

will be able to adjust our schedule to take into account everyone's

personal considerations as well as the team's preparation for

Sunday."
