The Jaguars signed 14 undrafted rookies to contracts today including adding wide receiver Derrek Richards from Utah. The Jaguars also re-signed veteran offensive tackle Richard Collier to a contract extension. The third-year pro has played in eight career games with one start after being signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2006 out of Valdosta State.
The 14 undrafted rookies include: TE Adam Bishop, DE Alex Boston, TE Chris Brown, FB Anthony Cotrone, WR Clyde Edwards, CB Isaiah Gardner, CB Michael Grant, WR Jeron Harvey, DT Theo Horrocks, C/G Drew Miller, LB Lamar Myles, WR Derrek Richards, QB Paul Smith and CB Brian Witherspoon.
The entire rookie class is expected to participate in the organized team activities along with the veterans beginning on Monday at the practice fields at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
