The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed third-round draft choice linebacker Akin Ayodele and waived linebacker Joe Wesley.
Ayodele, a 6-2, 257-pounder from Purdue, was the 89th selection overall in the April draft. He is the third of the team's nine draft choices to sign a contract. Wesley appeared in six games in 2001, making seven special teams tackles and one forced fumble. He signed with the Jaguars as a veteran free agent in 2001.
