JAGUARS SIGN CESARIO

The Jacksonville Jaguars today signed guard Anthony Cesario, the

team's third-round draft choice, to a contract. Length and terms of

the contract is not disclosed. Cesario becomes the seventh of the

Jaguars' eight draft choices to sign.

The 6-6, 312-pound Cesario started all 12 games in 1998 for

Colorado State and was a consensus All-WAC and All-American

first-team choice.

The Jaguars now have 81 of the 82 players on their roster under

contract for the 1999 season, with only first-round draft choice

Fernando Bryant left to sign. "While this leaves one player

remaining," said Michael Huyghue, senior vice president of football

operations, "talks have gone well and we expect that the other

contract will be done in a timely manner."
