The Jacksonville Jaguars today announced the signing of DE Cornell Thomas, who spent the 1994 season with the AFC champion San Diego Chargers.
Thomas, 23, was inactive for all 16 regular-season games in 1994, although he did see action in the Chargers' divisional playoff game against Miami on January 8, 1995. He was waived by the Chargers in the final cut on August 27. He did not play during the 1995 season.
A pass-rushing specialist, Thomas was signed by San Diego as an undrafted rookie free agent in 1994 out of West Georgia College.
The Jaguars now have 65 players on their roster.
