Jaguars sign Dean to practice squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed guard Konrad Dean to their practice squad. He fills the spot that opened up last Saturday when QB Quinn Gray was activated to the 53-man roster.

Dean, 24, was an undrafted rookie in 2002 who was waived in the final cuts by the Cleveland Browns and then had two stints on the Seattle Seahawks' active roster, although he was inactive for six games. He is a 6-4, 303-pounder out of Akron after transferring from Temple. Dean is a native of Jackson, N.J.
