The Jacksonville Jaguars made two roster moves, signing rookie free agent wide receiver Chris Jackson today and waiving punter Eric Wilbur.
Jackson, 23, was originally signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on April 30, 2007 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss. The 6-2, 205-pound receiver was waived on July 30 and signed with New Orleans, but was waived on Aug. 7. The Phenix City, Ala. native played in 10 games as a senior and led Millsaps in receiving, punt returns and kickoff returns. He caught 65 receptions for 693 yards and nine touchdowns and added 832 return yards and three touchdowns.
