The Jacksonville Jaguarstoday signed defensive end Jose White to the active roster.

White, 23, was signed off the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. He was previusly on the New York Jets' practice squad this season and spent training camp with the Minnesota Vikings. With minnesota in 1995, he was inactive for the first three games of the season and spent the remainder of the season on the team's practice squad. The 6-3, 274-pound White was a three-year starter at Howard, where he holds the school career record for sacks with 31. He was the conference's Defensive Player of teh Year in 1994. He will wear number 95.
