The Jaguars made two roster moves today as the team placed rookie defensive tackle Tywain Myles on the waived/injured list with an ankle injury and signed veteran free agent defensive tackle Jesse Mahelona to a contract.

Mahelona, 25, was on the Tennessee Titans active roster for the first game of the 2007 regular season at Jacksonville before being waived on Sept. 11. The 6-0, 311-pound defensive tackle played in 10 games with one start as a rookie in 2006 after being drafted by the Titans in the fifth round of the draft out of Tennessee. The Kailua-Kona, Hawaii native recorded 21 tackles and one sack. He will wear jersey No. 60.
