The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed WR Micah Ross to their practice squad. Ross, 25, a 6-3, 220-pounder out of Jacksonville University, was with the Jaguars during this year's training camp. He played both basketball and football at JU. Professionally, he played for the USBL Jacksonville Barracudas in 1999 and with the Jacksonville Tomcats this year. A Jacksonville native, Ross was All-State at Andrew Jackson High as a senior, and he led his team to the state championship as a junior. He signed with the Jaguars on August 17, played in the preseason game against Kansas City, and was waived on August 28.
