The Jacksonville Jaguars today announced the signing of MLB Ryan McCoy, who spent the 1995 season on the teamís practice squad.
McCoy, 23, was first signed by the Jaguars on December 27, 1994 and played in four preseason games. He was waived in the final cut on August 27 and re-signed the following day. McCoy was originally drafted in the sixth round of the 1994 draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.
McCoy is the second member of the 1995 practice squad to sign a 1996 contract. On December 26, G Rich Tylski was added to the roster.
