The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed LB Joe Tuipala and CB Robert Bean to tender offers.
Tuipala, 26, was an exclusive rights free agent. He made 42 tackles on special teams the last two seasons, becoming the first player in Jaguars history to have 20 or more in back-to-back seasons. He played in 15 games last year, adding five tackles on defense.
Bean, 25, was a restricted free agent who played in five games last season before going on injured reserve in December with a hamstring injury. A three-year veteran who started eight games for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2000 and 2001, Bean saw limited action on defense and played on special teams in 2002, making four total tackles.
