The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed wide receiver Charles Sharon to the active roster today and waived wide receiver Chad Owens.

Sharon, 6-0, 178, spent the entire regular season and first week of the postseason on the Jaguars practice squad. Sharon, a native of Palatka, Fla., was signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2006 from Bowling Green. He spent the first 10 weeks of last season on the practice squad before being moved to the 53-man roster for the final six games. He was inactive on game day for all six games.

Owens was signed to the Jaguars practice squad on Nov. 8 and was moved to the active roster on Dec. 28. He saw action in the regular season finale at Houston.
