Beginning tomorrow, Friday, June 28, Jaguars season ticketholders and Club Seat holders may pick up their tickets for the team¹s 1996 home games at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. Ticket Pickup will take place in the stadium¹s West Club from June 28 through Thursday, July 4. The tickets will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m each of the seven days, and free parking will be provided in the stadium lots on the stadium¹s west side. Season ticketholders are instructed to bring the certificate they received in the mail, along with a valid photo identification. For the protection of season ticketholders, only the ticketholder of record may sign for their tickets, although family members are welcome to accompany them to Ticket Pickup.
³Last year Ticket Pickup was an exciting event because everyone was so eager to hold their Jaguars tickets in their hands for the first time,² said Judy Seldin, Jaguars vice president/ticket operations. ³This year, season ticketholders have an opportunity to visit the inside of the West Club, win prizes, and start to feel the excitement of the 1996 season.²
Many attractions and events will take place along with the ticket pickup. Each day from 11:00 to 1:00 free merchandise from last season¹s Inaugural Game will be available, and drawings for other prizes will take place at 1:00, 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. In addition, each season ticketholder of record will receive a Jaguars Rally Rag. Fans may also purchase JTA shuttle passes for the 1996 season, receive a free poster with a Jaguars Inside Report subscription, and learn about the new First Union reloadable Spot Card.
Some Jaguars players will be on hand to sign autographs from 2:00 to 2:30 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 1-3. Members of The Roar will give cheerleading and dance demonstrations at 2:00 on Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, as well as on Thursday, July 4.
Last year when the Jaguars held Ticket Pickup, 54 percent of season ticketholders and 39 percent of Club Seat holders picked up their Inaugural season tickets in person, with waiting lines of five to 25 minutes for most of the day. Season tickets that are not picked up by 7:00 p.m. on July 4 will be mailed to the ticketholder of record. Fans purchasing three-game ticket packages are not included at Ticket Pickup ‹ those tickets will be available at the Jaguars ticket office beginning July 15.
