On June 7 and 8, the Jacksonville Jaguars, in conjunction with the National Football Foundation and the National Football League, will host a coaching clinic for area high school coaches. The two-day clinic will run from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on both days.
In addition to head coach Tom Coughlin and members of the Jaguars' coaching staff, trained faculty from NFF participating institutions will combine lecture, video and demonstrations of techniques and practice components to enhance the quality of coaching in the Northeast Florida area. Other aspects of the clinic will include segments on player-coach communications, life skills, program/team management, health, safety, and nutrition.
Registration for the clinic will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 in the West Touchdown Club. There is a $40 fee for the clinic. For more information, please contact Bahati Van Pelt at 904-633-6000.
