The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived DT Jose White. White, 26,

played in 15 games for the Jaguars in 1998. He had 38 total tackles,

along with three sacks and one forced fumble. In 1997 he was

waived in training camp, but returned to the Jaguars in November

and saw action in three games. He spent time with four NFL teams

in 1996 after spending the 1995 season on the Minnesota Vikings

practice squad.

The Jaguars now have 80 players under contract.
