Jaguars waive three

The Jacksonville Jaguars today waived cornerback Robert Bean, guard Aaron Koch and guard/offensive tackle Derrick Chambers. All three players spent time on the injured reserve list in 2002.

Bean, a three-year veteran, was claimed off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 2, 2002. He played in five games for the Jaguars before being placed on injured reserve December 3 with a hamstring injury. Bean made one tackle on defense and three tackles on special teams in 2002.

Koch, who played in 24 games with one start in his first two seasons with the Jaguars, missed all of 2002 after suffering a torn ACL in minicamp. The fourth-year veteran had been claimed by the Jaguars in early 2000 from the Tennessee Titans' practice squad.

Chambers suffered a neck injury during the preseason and missed the entire year. A member of the Titans' practice squad in 2001, the former defensive tackle turned offensive lineman, was inactive for all 11 games played with the Jaguars in 2001.
