(On how the locker room feels about the upcoming game) "It is just another week that we have to prepare for and go out there and try to get another win."
(On if he looks at this game as 11-on-11 rather than individual matchups) "It is [11-on-11]."
(On if the team will be playing a lot of zone) "I don't know what the game plan is. I will do what I am asked to do."
(On how much he is looking forward to the home opener) "I am really looking forward to that. I know the fans are going to come out, show big support and we definitely feed off their energy when we are out there and the place is rocking. I think it is going to be a good atmosphere. I am excited that this is our home opener."
(On what the battle was like against Rob Gronkowski in the AFC Championship) "You tell me."
(On how he feels he handled the matchup with Rob Gronkowski) "You tell me."
(On his video feature with ESPN and if he got any acting feedback) "I don't know. What did you all think about it? That is the feedback. Why are you asking me for feedback?"
(On if his family and friends gave him feedback on the video) "They thought it was cool, too."
(On if he came up with the name "Terry Duval" or if that was ESPN who did) "I guess the producers or whoever at ESPN. It wasn't my idea."
(On if he likes showing more of his personality) "Sure. If people didn't see it, it wouldn't bother me either. People are going to like you or people are not going to like you. It shouldn't stop how you carry yourself. It shouldn't stop how you are as a person."
(On Defensive Coordinator Todd Wash saying that it's "crazy" to call Rob Gronkowski overrated) "I might be crazy. I don't care."
(On people calling Rob Gronkowski the best ever) "He's good. He's good, now. We aren't going to get it twisted. He's good. But you saying this to me – is it supposed to bring fear to me or something? Alright then. I don't fear no man, period. He is going to have to come out there and line up on me or however it goes. He has to play us this year."
(On if he looks at his opponents differently after the game is played and can show them respect) "Yes. That is definitely how I look at it. When you play the game of football, I feel like to respect the game, you have to play it fierce, you have to play it … I don't believe in having friends on the field. My brother, my dad, my mom, if my grandma was out there, it's on! After the game, we can be cool. It doesn't matter. That is how I feel you have to respect the game of football. Football is not a game meant to be played being nice to each other and all that like, 'Kumbaya.' After the game is over with, that is cool."
(On if he would really hit his grandma if they played against each other) "I definitely would. She knows that. Grandma, I love you, but you know that."
(On if his grandma would hit him back if they played against each other) "Grandma might not get up from one of my licks."
(On if he thinks players are more friendly with each other than they used to be) "Maybe a tad bit, but then you have those guys who are still very passionate about the game, who go out there and play with all the passion and heart in the world. You can tell through their play, week in and week out, so I'm not going to say everybody is like that. Maybe a little bit, but I think guys are aware how football should be played and I think a lot of guys do go out there and give football the respect."
(On if it raises his level of tenacity when he plays against players he respects a lot) "I try to play the same against everybody and I'm not saying I do, because that would be a lie. There are definitely guys you get a little more pumped up to play. That is just how life goes. That is just how it goes, but I try to go out there and give respect to the game week in and week out the same way."
(On what determines how excited he gets to play certain receivers) "Like I said, I try to do the same thing week in and week out, pay my respect to the game in general. If I know the receiver is one of the top in the game, I have to be on my P's and Q's a little bit more. I might be a little bit more locked in than if I would be if I was lining up against maybe one of you all or something. (laughter) I try to go out there and give it the same respect."
(On if he will be matched up with Rob Gronkowski on Sunday) "I'm not sure. I am going to go out there and do whatever the coaches ask me to do to be honest. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I am very confident in all of my teammates on the defensive side of the ball. Whoever goes against him, I am very confident that they will hold it down and I will do my job and hold it down where I am at."
