JACKSONVILLE – These are new times around the Jaguars.
That was true during one of the most memorable seasons in franchise history in 2025, and it will be true as we at Jaguars Media prepare for the 2026 NFL Draft. Specifically, there will be a change in one of our annual pre-draft staples – the mock draft tracker.
Because the Jaguars enter the offseason with no first-round selection after using it to trade up to No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft for wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, we won't "track" how draft analysts see the Jaguars in the first round each week until the April 23-25 2026 NFL Draft on a weekly basis as we have in years past.
Instead, we'll have fewer draft "trackers" this offseason. Those we do have will focus on the team's second-round selection at No. 56 overall and – when possible – how some analysts see their needs and possibilities in later rounds.
First, here's a look at the Jaguars' selections in the '26 draft:
Round 2 (original Jaguars selection), Round 3 (Jaguars), Round 3 (acquired in a trade with the Detroit Lions), Round 3 (Detroit Lions, compensatory), Round 4 (Jaguars), Round 5 (Jaguars), Round 5 (Philadelphia Eagles/conditional), Round 6 (Philadelphia Eagles through Houston Texans), Round 7 (Jaguars), Round 7 (Los Angeles Rams through Texans) and Round 7 (Detroit Lions).
Here's the first jaguars.com 2026 mock draft tracker, with a look at players analysts believe the Jaguars may select No. 56 overall:
