Macky Weaver Promoted, Connolly Joining Packers

In a move to bring together all sales activities and functions within the organization, Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver has promoted Macky Weaver to Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing for the team. One of 14 current employees who have been with the Jaguars since 1994, Macky Weaver has served as executive director of corporate sponsorship for the past six years and was director of corporate sponsorship for the previous six.

"This reorganization will create a more seamless relationship with our major partners and gives us an opportunity to better serve our customers in premium and general bowl ticketing, suites, sponsorship, and radio and television," Wayne Weaver said.

Tim Connolly, the Jaguars' Senior Vice President for Business Development, has accepted a vice president position with the Green Bay Packers. Connolly has been in that role with the Jaguars the past five years after handling the sales initiative for Super Bowl XXXIX which was played in Jacksonville in February of 2005.
