Marcus Stroud to host Second-Annual Golf Tournament

JAGUARS' DT MARCUS STROUD TO HOST SECOND-ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The second-annual Marcus Stroud Foundation Golf Tournament will be held on April 15-16 at Queen's Harbour Yacht & Country Club in Jacksonville. Stroud, a three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle, will host the event.

The tournament begins with a welcome reception on Sunday, April 15 followed by the golf tournament on Monday, April 16. Numerous celebrities are scheduled to be in attendance including John Henderson, Rashean Mathis and Donovin Darius from the Jaguars along with current NFL players Takeo Spikes (Buffalo Bills), Vonnie Holliday (Miami Dolphins) and former Jaguars Tony Brackens and Kevin Hardy. Four participants will have a chance to win a car courtesy of Coggin Automotives.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Marcus Stroud Foundation. The Marcus Stroud Foundation is dedicated to supporting children who face significant physical, mental and financial challenges in a single parent home. The goal of the foundation is to help enhance and enrich the lives of disadvantaged children by establishing various academic and athletic programs otherwise unavailable to them.
