Practice schedule changed

The Jacksonville Jaguars have scheduled an evening practice for Thursday, the first ever for the franchise not held inside ALLTEL Stadium.

The Jaguars will practice twice on Thursday, the first session from 11:30 a.m. to 12:35 in shorts. In the evening, the team will practice from 7:30 to 9:35 p.m. under new lights that will be used for the first time.

(Whenever a night practice is scheduled, media interviews will take place following the morning practice, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.)

"We had night practices scheduled prior to yesterday," said head coach Jack Del Rio. "We anticipate being able to work tomorrow night under the lights and then go into the stadium on Friday (for a scrimmage at 7:30 p.m.). We'll get a couple of opportunities under the lights."

On Thursday, eight portable light stands will be set up to light up the FieldTurf field closest to the stands on the east side of the practice fields.
