The Jaguars today terminted the practice squad contract of OT Keith Wagner and signed OT Ronald Cherry to their practice squad. Wagner had been signed on September 2.

Cherry was drafted in the fifth round by Detroit in 1995 and spent his entire rookie season on the Lion's practice squad. He attended the Atlanat Falcon's minicamp this spring, but was released and later signed by the Chicago Bears, where he played throughout the preseason before being released in the final cuts on August 25. Cherry, 24, is a 6-4, 300-pounder who was a three-year starter at McNeese State. he was named first team 1-A All-America in 1994.
