Ready for scrimmage

The Jacksonville Jaguars held two practice sessions today, in their first full week of training camp. On Friday, the Jaguars will hold a 10:30 a.m. morning session at the practice fields and will move inside Alltel Stadium for the live scrimmage at 7:30 p.m. Both sessions are free and open to the public.

"The scrimmage is the first time that we get to go full speed," said safety Nick Sorensen. "It's football. That's what fans can expect, just a good hard-nosed football game. Regardless of who we are playing, guys are looking forward to finishing plays. So it's going to be exciting."

For the scrimmage, free parking will be available in Lots M, N, J, P, C & D. Fans must enter through Gates 1 or 4 of Alltel Stadium. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. There will be Jaguars 2006 merchandise available, specially priced concessions and a brief autograph session immediately following the scrimmage. Preseason single game tickets will be available during the scrimmage, as well as at every practice session at the practice fields.

Camp will continue on Saturday with a Mock Game inside Alltel Stadium at 10:00 a.m. The Jaguars' coaching staff and players will run through a practice session of what a game day will be like. There will not be an autograph opportunity on Saturday.
