Roster Moves: Jaguars Elevate Two Players

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have elevated QB Nick Mullens and LB Jalen McLeod to the active roster from the practice squad for tomorrow's game via standard elevation, the team announced today.

Mullens, 31, was elevated to the active roster in Week 1 and spent the 2025 season with Jacksonville. He originally signed with San Francisco as an undrafted rookie in 2017 and has played in 39 career games (20 starts) with San Francisco (2017-20), Cleveland (2021), Minnesota (2022-24) and Jacksonville (2025-26). Mullens has completed 533-of-808 passes (66.0 percent) for 6,448 yards, 34 touchdowns and an 88.3 passer rating during his NFL career.

A Hoover, Ala., native, Mullens attended Southern Mississippi (2013-16) where he was named the 2015 Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year after starting 14 contests and setting single-season school records for passing yards (4,476) and touchdown passes (38).

McLeod, 24, spent the 2025 season on the injured reserve list. He was originally drafted by Jacksonville in the sixth round (194th overall) of the 2025 draft. A Washington, D.C., native, McLeod attended Appalachian State (2020-22) and Auburn (2023-24), where he set career highs in 2024 in tackles (57), tackles for loss (13.5) and sacks (8.0) in 12 games.
