JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed LB Jared Bartlett, the team announced today. Additionally, the team has waived WR Ben Patterson.

Bartlett originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in 2025. He spent time with the Jets, Packers and Cardinals last season and appeared in two games with Arizona. Bartlett has spent the majority of the 2026 offseason with the Panthers before being waived on July 25, 2026.

Barlett appeared in 61 games (34 starts) over six college seasons at West Virginia (2019-2023) and Cincinnati (2024). His collegiate totals include 202 tackles, 32.5 tackles for loss, 21.5 sacks, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Barlett and WR/CB Travis Hunter were teammates in 2018 at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga.
