Smith suspended by Coughlin

Third-year defensive tackle Larry Smith has been suspended for this Sunday's game in Tennessee, following a team rules violation. Coach Tom Coughlin announced the suspension today but did not disclose its nature.

"I've suspended Larry Smith for violation of team rules … suspended him for this week," Coughlin said.

Smith has been a gameday deactivation for the past two games.
