Teal and black exchange

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced today that they will offer 1,000 fans an opportunity to exchange other NFL team merchandise for a free Jaguars hat.

"With our in-state rivals, the Miami Dolphins, coming to Alltel Stadium on Saturday, we felt this would be the perfect opportunity to encourage fans to support their hometown team by wearing teal & black both around town and on game days," said Jaguars Director of Marketing Jennifer Perkins. "This is just another fun way to get fans involved and get them excited about the start of the 2005 season."

The first 1,000 fans who bring a piece of merchandise from other NFL teams to the Jaguars vs. Dolphins game on Saturday, August 13th will receive a Jaguars hat in exchange for their merchandise. Saturday's exchange will start at 4:30 in the Pepsi Plaza, which is located in the south end of Alltel Stadium. Fans should take their merchandise to the Jaguars Cool Catmobile to participate in the exchange, which will continue while supplies last. Limit one hat per person.

Upon completion of the exchange, the Jaguars will provide the Jaguars Foundation with any wearable merchandise for distribution to local youth charities.
