Hamzah Ahmad is in his fifth season as director of football operations after signing on with the Jaguars as the director of football logistics & facilities in Feb. 2013. He oversees team logistics, which includes home hotel operations, selecting away game hotels and coordinating the team travel for domestic games and London. He is also responsible for the football-specific areas of the facility at TIAA Bank Field.
Prior to joining the Jaguars, Ahmad spent eight seasons with the Atlanta Falcons (2005–12) in various roles, but most recently as the senior event marketing/travel advance coordinator. He began his career as a training camp intern with the Falcons and completed a total of three internships with Atlanta before being hired as a full-time staff member.
Ahmad is originally from Pakistan and moved to Jacksonville with his family when he was 12 years old. He attended Nease High School in Jacksonville and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 2004. Ahmad and his wife, Brandi, have two sons, Jayden and Mayson.
