JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed CB Corey Ballentine, the team announced today. Additionally, CB Dane Jackson has been placed on the Reserve/Retired list.

Ballentine was originally drafted by the New York Giants in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has played in 75 career games (11 starts) for the Giants (2019-20), Jets (2020), Lions (2021), Packers (2022-24), Patriots (2025) and Cowboys (2025). Ballentine's career totals include 77 tackles (57 solo), nine passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one interception and one quarterback hit. He has also returned 37 kicks for 876 yards (23.7 average) over his seven-year NFL career.

Ballentine was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and grew up in the state of Kansas. He played collegiately at Washburn University from 2015-18 where he registered 186 tackles (113 solo), 10 tackles for loss, five interceptions, four forced fumbles, four blocked kicks and three fumble recoveries. Ballentine was also a standout member of the school's track and field team.
