Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the vibrant cultures, traditions, and powerful contributions of the Hispanic and Latino communities, past, present, and future.
The Jacksonville Jaguars proudly recognize the importance of uplifting these stories and voices. From our players to our front office, we are committed to celebrating the diverse heritage that shapes our city and our team. By spotlighting local leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and changemakers, we aim to provide an authentic platform where the spirit of Hispanic Heritage can be seen, heard, and felt throughout Duval.
Somos Duval, united in pride, culture, and community. Together, we celebrate those who continue to inspire, lead, and build a legacy for generations to come.
Hispanic Heritage Tailgate
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a flavorful kickoff at the Hispanic Heritage Tailgate, presented by 1928 Cuban Bistro, featuring authentic bites, music, and family fun before the Jaguars take on the Texans. Located in Lot P outside EverBank Stadium's Gallagher Club West Gates, the festivities run from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and include both the tailgate experience and a game ticket.
Jorge Cordova: A Trailblazer in Teal and Black
Jorge Cordova made history as the first player of Mexican American descent to be drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Selected in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft out of the University of Nevada, Cordova brought pride in his heritage and a fierce competitive spirit to the field.
